NCB Trombone Master Class with Mark Fisher

This past weekend the NCB trombone section had its annual master class. This year the premier musician who led the class was Mark Fisher, Assistant Principal Trombonist with the Lyric Opera of Chicago and Principal Trombone for the Santa Fe Opera. Mr. Fisher is Head of the Trombone Department at DePaul University and has served on the faculties of Northwestern University, the University of Michigan, Roosevelt University, Northern Illinois University, and the Banff International Festival. An accomplished euphonium soloist, he has won numerous international solo competitions and his solo CD Eufish continues to meet with worldwide acclaim.

This year’s masterclass was held at DePaul University in Chicago and included NCB members Andy Burkemper, Bryan Tipps, Dan DiCesare, Joe Schorer, Brad Say, Dave Shaw and Paul Bauer.
