Program Information
Details about the works being performed are available in advance of each performance, and program notes are made available online approximately 1 week before each concert. Printed program booklets are available for all series concerts.
Performance length
Northshore Concert Band performances are approximately 2 hours long, including a 10- to 15-minute intermission. Non-series concerts are often 90 minutes or less.
When should I clap?
Many works on our programs have separate movements or sections. A short pause typically follows each movement, and it has become commonplace to hold your applause during these pauses. Once the complete piece has ended, your applause is greatly appreciated.
What should I wear?
At any Northshore Concert Band performance, you will observe concertgoers dressed up and others dressed more casually. Many patrons wear business casual attire, but you are welcome to dress as you see fit for the occasion.
