On behalf of the entire Northshore Concert Band family, we thank you for your participation in this year’s Lifetime of Music concert! The success of this event is dependent on the work of hundreds of people: band directors, private instructors, students and their parents, members of the Northshore Concert Band — the list goes on. We couldn’t have done it without you, and we are so happy you contributed to making this a memorable experience for all involved.

We’re happy to share the audio recording of Sunday’s concert with you free of charge! The files can be found at the Google Drive directory linked below, and will be available now through March 18, 2025.
Postconcert Survey
When you have a moment, please consider completing our postconcert survey. Your thoughtful responses and opinions are very important to us, as they help inform the planning of future Lifetime of Music concerts and educational programs. If you wish to speak with a Lifetime of Music coordinator directly, please send us a message at lifetime@northshoreband.org.

We would be delighted to see you at a Northshore Concert Band event this season! Here’s what we have coming up:
SPIRITED AWAY
April 13, 2025 | 3:00 P.M.
Pick-Staiger Concert Hall, Evanston
Spirituality in its varied forms unfolds in this inspiring program. Highlights include the timeless Eternal Father, Strong to Save; Reena Esmail’s inventive Chamak, which fuses Hindustani ragas with the wind band medium; the enchanting music of Joe Hisaishi; and Yasuhide Ito’s reverent Gloriosa, capturing the essence of Japanese culture and spirituality.
IRRATIONAL JOY
June 7, 2025 | 3:00 P.M.
McGrath Family Performing Arts Center, Wilmette
Kick off your summer with a jubilant collection of music designed to lift your spirits. Enjoy Gustav Holst’s classic First Suite in E-flat; Jun Nagao’s lilting The Earth, a confluence of several of Holst’s most treasured works; Arturo Márquez’s sultry Danzon No. 2; and the epic “Adventures on Earth” from E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.
Once again, we thank you for your participation in this year’s Lifetime of Music concert. It was wonderful making music with you, and we hope you will always keep music a part of your life!
