On behalf of the entire Northshore Concert Band family, we thank you for your participation in this year’s Lifetime of Music concert! The success of this event is dependent on the work of hundreds of people: band directors, private instructors, students and their parents, members of the Northshore Concert Band — the list goes on. We couldn’t have done it without you, and we are so happy you contributed to making this a memorable experience for all involved.

Postconcert Survey

When you have a moment, please consider completing our postconcert survey. Your thoughtful responses and opinions are very important to us, as they help inform the planning of future Lifetime of Music concerts and educational programs. If you wish to speak with a Lifetime of Music coordinator directly, please send us a message at lifetime@northshoreband.org.

Upcoming Northshore Concert Band Performances

We would be delighted to see you at a Northshore Concert Band event this season! Here’s what we have coming up:

Story Tellers

April 12, 2026 | 3:00 P.M.
Pick-Staiger Concert Hall, Evanston

Join us for an afternoon of music that captures the magic of childhood, including Percy Grainger’s Children’s March and a delightful suite inspired by the stories of Hans Christian Andersen. Excerpts from My Neighbor Totoro and Far and Away invite you to experience the world anew — with curiosity, wonder, and soaring inspiration.

American Dreams

June 5, 2026 | 7:30 P.M.
Niles North High School, Evanston

Commemorating the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, our season concludes with contemplations on the American Dream, expressed through the music of Kevin Day, Julie Giroux, William Schuman, and Fisher Tull. Together, these works reflect on themes of liberty, integrity, resilience, and hope — timeless ideals that shaped our nation and continue to resonate today.

Once again, we thank you for your participation in this year’s Lifetime of Music concert. It was wonderful making music with you, and we hope you will always keep music a part of your life!
