This edition highlights more unforgettable moments shared by our NCB family, including adventures from three members who explored some of our nation's beautiful national parks. In July NCB members Jennifer (flute) and Bruce Nelson (euphonium) had a wonderful time on a four day wildlife tour of Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Parks. Here are some of the many animals they saw. Their amazing tour guide, Kevin captured the closeups of the grizzly bear and eagle and Jennifer took the rest of the photos.
NCB member Peter Lograsso (tuba) continues his tradition of summer motorcycle adventures, exploring scenic destinations across the country. This year, his travels included Glacier National Park, Theodore Roosevelt National Park, and Independence Pass along the Continental Divide.
In 2024, Peter spent some time touring the Black Hills of South Dakota on his motorcycle. In the summer of 2023 Peter’s motorcycle tour was in Colorado riding to the summit of Mt. Evans, the highest paved road in North America!
