Chloe Mason plays the Oboe.

What do you enjoy most about playing?

I enjoy expressing myself through music which is a way I can show what is in my heart.

Do you have a favorite musical memory?

Not one specifically, but all memories are mainly good when I am making music with others who are passionate about music as well.

Who was your most influential music teacher?

Deb Stevenson (I still take lessons with her!)

Does anyone in your family play music?

Just me!

What are your musical influences?

Definitely Francois Leleux, his expressive playing and confidence on stage is absolutely contagious and it inspires me.

What makes performing with Northshore Concert Band different than performing with other groups?

I typically have played with peers around my same age throughout college, but I like the dedication and mature sound of Northshore Concert Band which I have not experienced with in other ensembles.

List three words to describe the Northshore Concert Band.
